Wasif Hafeez

A Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from the internationally renowned and leading institute, the National College of Arts and a Diploma in Graphic Design from RMIT, drives Wasif’s passion for all things visual.
But Wasif’s vast experience and knowledge is not limited by his qualifications. His great understanding and concept of design goes back to his roots, right back to his heritage and a long line of visionaries, inventers and creative minds.
Wasif grew up in a family that prides itself as being the pioneers of the ocular prosthetic field in Pakistan. His father, Zahid Hafeez, is the only expert ocularist serving the country. Ocularistry is a small and specialised field of prosthetics that helps give people a sense of normalcy after losing a major organ of the human body, the eyes.
Working along with his father and grandfather in the family business, Wasif gained invaluable knowledge and practical experience in the field. His own creativity was fuelled by designing and hand crafting custom-made prosthetic eyes for customers.
The art and science of this specialised industry does not just work with the principle of one eye fits all formula. In this unique field Wasif learnt the art of developing personalised prosthetic eyes for each individual client.
Not wanting to be limited in his creative pursuits, Wasif found time while working in the family business to follow his own passion by gaining a degree in architecture.
A desire for advancing his knowledge and experience led him to Melbourne, Australia in 2005, where after working in the architecture and graphic design industry for many years, Wasif opened his own design studio.
His vision for his company is to combine his knowledge of architecture, graphic design and his years of experience gained alongside his father to bring about a new breath of fresh air into design and branding concepts for all his clients.
Wasif’s great grasp of aesthetics, focus on detail and sharp understanding of the market and the design needs of businesses have made him a well known player in the world of design.
